Our vision is to give everyone who lives in Sweden access to a psychological treatment that works.
Internetpsychiatry offer Internet-based treatment for depression, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), healh anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder and insomnia. We also offer treatment for further diagnoses within the framework of research projects.
OCD-programmet offer Internet-based treatment for body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
The need for treatment of common psychological problems is currently far greater than the access to treatment. Using the Internet increases both the accessibility of care and the treatment options within the health care system. Internet treatment is thus a complement to, and not a replacement for, other interventions in healthcare.
Internetpsykiatri and OCD-programmet is part of Psykiatri Sydväst. As publicly funded health care, it costs 250 SEK for the initial assessment meeting with a psychologist. Internet treatment costs 250 SEK per contact with a psychologist over the Internet, at least 250 SEK per week. You pay until you get high-cost protection, which is when you reach 1200 SEK, after which the visits and the Internet treatment are free for one year after the first appointment.
